Boy Charged with Burglary in School Break-In

Police say they saw him coming out of Bedford Elementary School after an alarm sounded.

Police charged an 11-year-old boy with fourth-degree burglary after they saw him leaving Bedford Elementary School at 8:30 a.m., May 28, according to a police report.

Baltimore County Police from Precinct 4/Pikesville were responding to an alarm at the school, located at 7407 Dorman Drive, and saw the boy coming out a side door, the report states.

Police detained him, then later arrested him. According to the report, he did not take any property from the school.
