7-Eleven Target of Armed Robbery Thursday

The store that sold the winning Mega Millions Lottery ticket in March was robbed at gunpoint—again.

At 1:25 a.m. Thursday morning, a man armed with a black handgun came into the 7-Eleven at 8014 Liberty Road and ordered the clerk to open the cash register.

The clerk complied, and the robber took $50 and five packs of Newport cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a black male, between the ages 25-30, the report states.

He is 5-foot 9-11 inches tall, with a medium build and light complexion, brown eyes and short, black hair. He has a tattoo of a cross on his right arm and tattoos on his left arm, it states.

He wore blue jeans, a white tank top, and a blue sweatshirt that was wrapped around his face, according to the report.

He ran in an unknown direction after leaving the store.

The store was reportedly robbed May 26 as well.

The Milford Mill store was the center of worldwide media attention after March 30, when it sold the winning $656 million Mega Millions lottery ticket.
