5K Remembrance Run Set for 6 p.m. in Pikesville

To memorialize victims of the 9/11 attacks on the United States in 2001, the police Explorers from the Pikesville Precinct are holding a 5K run.

Don't like to run? There will be a walk as well. It's an event that's held to remember the tragedy of the attacks, the heroes who helped, and those who died. But it's also to support each other as we recall the anniversary.

Explorers, ages 14-21, learn law enforcement skills through the Baltimore County Police Explorer Program.

The Remembrance Run begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Fleet Feet Pikesville, located in the Festival at Woodholme shopping center, 1809 Reisterstown Road.

For more information, see the flier attached to this article, or contact Officer Keith Ketterman at 410-887-6775.
