5 Teens Struck by Car, Infant and a Driver Injured

A two-car crash in Lochearn turned into a pedestrian tragedy Thursday night when one of the cars left the road and struck five teens.

At 10 p.m., two Honda Accords crashed after one driver of a 2003 model tried to drive across Windsor Mill Road from Royal Court Drive, according to a news release by the Baltimore County Police Department.

The second car, a 2009 model, was traveling north on Windsor Mill Road when the cars collided, it states.

"The impact sent the 2003 Honda over the curb, into a sign post and into a grassy area where the teens were standing," it states. "Five teens were struck by the car."

Three of the pedestrians, a 16-year-old boy and 15- and 16-year-old girls, were taken to Northwest Hospital in Randallstown.

A 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were taken to Sinai Hospital.

The driver of the 2009 Honda and "an infant passenger in one of the cars" were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, it states.

The driver of the 2003 Honda, a man, 18, was not taken to the hospital.

Police are investigating the crash, the release states. No charges have been filed.
