Police: 5 Teens Caught Ransacking, Burglarizing

Five teens were arrested Tuesday in connection with a burglary in Gwynn Oak.

According to a police report, at about 1:55 p.m., the teens allegedly forced open the rear door of a home in the 3700 block of Croydon Road, allegedly ransacked the inside and stole coins, batteries, a radio and jewelry.

A witness called police, who came to the home and arrested the suspects while the they were allegedly in the act of burglarizing it, the report states.

The teens arrested were four boys, three of whom were age 17, and one age 16. One girl was 16, the report states.

Each was charged as a juvenile on first-degree burglary charges, it states.
