The following information was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. Charges do not indicate convictions.

Jessie Lee Whittington and Dean Cornillious Reaves, both 19, have been charged with robbery this week in Pikesville, Baltimore County police say.

At 11:18 p.m. Monday, a Pikesville woman was walking to her car in the parking lot of 508 Reisterstown Road, when the two men "grabbed" her and threw her to the ground, according to a report by the Pikesville Precinct.

"The suspects then grabbed her purse containing various personal belongings and fled on foot toward Milford Mill Road," the report states.

Reaves, a resident of the 1600 block of West Lexington St., and Whittington, a resident of the 400 block of Lenox St., were charged with robbery, theft of less than $1,000 and second-degree assault.

Reaves was also charged with making a false statement to officers, according to court records.

They are being held in the Baltimore County Detention Center, and their preliminary hearings are Sept. 6.
