What family traditions did you look forward to when you were growing up? That special birthday plate? Sunday visits to Grandma’s? Nightly bedtime stories? Friday night Shabbat dinners?
For many of us, memories of shared rituals and traditions make us smile. The feelings may be nostalgic, but they also trigger a continuing sense of belonging, of being part of something unique and meaningful, and the desire to pass on these special connections to our children. Read more
