Members of the Pikesville Police & Community Relations Council have adopted a family again this holiday season.
Each year the council selects one family to sponsor with Christmas gifts and other support.
The family chosen this year is living in Pikesville after a fire destroyed their home, said Jerry D'Antoni, president of the PCRC. Details on that fire, including where it occurred, were not immediately available.

This evening, the council, including Santa Claus, is gathering up the presents and heading over to visit the family.
