On CHAI Weatherization Day, volunteers help seniors and people with disabilities get ready for the winter.
Volunteers with Comprehensive Housing Assistance Inc., or CHAI, help weatherize windows, rake leaves, trim hedges, install batteries in smoke and CO detectors, install lightbulbs, turn mattresses and more.
Volunteers can register on the CHAI website by Oct. 19.
