Noted author, speaker and Jewish historian, Dr. Lauren Strauss will trace the story of women’s activism
in the labor movement, rent strikes, birth control, anti-prostitution, and other causes that were
prominent in the early and mid-20th century. The lecture will include profiles of individual activists.
