City Employees, Students and Santa Present Music & Fun at the


Abel Wolman Municipal Building

Join the Baltimore City Department of Public Works for a day of mittens and music, beginning at 11 a.m.


Bring mittens, gloves, scarves and caps to donate to the Salvation Army’s Franklin Square Boys and Girls Club, located at 215 Calhoun St.

Public Works Director Alfred H. Foxx kicks off the event.


Music is by the Department of Public Works/Department of Transportation Employee Band & Singers,


The event will be held at the Abel Wolman Municipal Building, 200 Holliday St.


Also performing will be:



  • The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Clubs

  • Franklin Square Unit

  • Students from Cecil Elementary School

  • The Baltimore Police Department Adult choir


Santa will help toss the first mittens onto the tree.


Citizens and Baltimore City employees are encouraged to help decorate the tree with mittens, gloves, hats and scarves through Thursday, December 20, 2012.
