Join Martin Engelhardt, M.D., Ph.D. for his talk, "The Effects of Exercise on Cardiovascular Health.” It’s part of the ongoing Heart to Heart lecture series, sponsored by the Heart Center at Sinai.
The topics that Dr. Engelhardt will discuss include:
-Defining “appropriate” exercise by age group
-Measuring the effects of exercise relating to weight, BMI, lipids, blood pressure and more
-Recommending exercises for cardiac patients
-Explaining how “extreme” exercise affects the heart
