Tomatoes, pound cake and a knife sharpening station are only a few of the items and services available at the weekly Pikesville Farmers Market, open through 6 p.m. Tuesday.
I got a taste of the delicious, smooth poundcake by Susie's Southern Down Home Pound Cakes.
These are available at the market, held each Tuesday from 2-6 pm, through October, or made-to-order by calling Gerald or Susie Smith at 410-521-7133.
Have dull knives? Bring them to Rod's Sharpening Service booth at the farmers market, 1700 Reisterstown Road, and get them done on site.
There's more to discover, so stop on by!
This is a new site for the market, and, in my opinion, it's the best one yet, with plenty of parking and a variety of vendors.
Have you been to the market, sponsored bu the Pikesville Chamber of Commerce? Tell us about the products, vendors and the new site, in the comments section.
