Foodie on the Loose!

Purim is almost here and if you are a Hamentaschen fan, I have found the ultimate Hamentaschen for you.

Located right over the county line on 6848 Reisterstown Rd. is Goldman's Kosher Bakery, in the Fallstaff Shopping Center.

When you walk into Goldman's the smell alone will take you back to your childhood. A smell you never find in any supermarket bakery. The aroma of fresh baked breads, cakes and cookies are beyond heavenly. The ladies behind the counter even wear the pink smocks that are a throwback from the good old days of real bakeries!

Located in one of the glass display cases are a variety of Hamentaschen in nine different flavors, as well as a choice of doughs. Where have you ever gotten a choice of doughs before? The cookie dough is my personal, Pikesville favorite. My fillings of choice are cherry and chocolate. These are the ultimate "comfort food!"

Max Goldman, the owner, is a delightful guy that really has a passion for his products. This year he came up with new flavor Hamentaschen, Black Forest with a chocolate dough! Amazingly delicious.

If you have to be on a sugar-free diet, fear not. Goldman's has sugar-free delectables as well!
