HEART HEALTHY RECIPE: "Portobello Mushrooms with Provolone"

In honor of Healthy Heart Month, I'm posting a recipe right from the experts on heart health: the Mayo Clinic!

In honor of Healthy Heart Month, I thought I'd post a recipe from the experts on heart health themselves, the Mayo Clinic and no—the 'mayo' here doesn't mean Kraft!!! Yes, the Mayo clinic actually posts Heart Healthy recipes... who knew, (well, I did but now we all do) LOL! This recipe really is the bomb! At the bottom of the page under the recipe, I'm including the link to this part of their site so that you can log on and cook your heart healthy everyday.

In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, brown sugar, rosemary and garlic. Pour the mixture over the mushrooms. Set aside for 5 to 10 minutes to marinate.

Broil (grill) the mushrooms, turning once, until they're tender, about 4 minutes on each side. Sprinkle grated cheese over each mushroom and continue to broil (grill) until the cheese melts. Transfer to individual plates and serve immediately.
