There's a Lot Going On This Weekend

There are good events going on this weekend in Pikesville: from Russian vodka, beer and wine tastings to live music at Pikes Diner.

 

After reading this weekend's Pikesville Patch calendar, Cheryl Wapner Cohen said, "There's a lot going on—really."

And she's right.

First of all, this might be a good weekend for adults to grab a designated driver and traverse the wine and spirits landscape of Pikesville.

Start off Friday afternoon with a tasting at . And continue Saturday afternoon by attending any or all of the four wine tastings in town. Most of them begin at about 1 p.m.

If learning is more your speed, then head down to Beth Am Synagogue in Baltimore Saturday afternoon to hear opinions on reasons that same-sex unions should be supported.

Afterward, stick around the city for the 7:30 p.m.  at the Walters Art Museum, or decide to come back home and have dinner at and hear band play at 9 p.m.

Or head north to for the 7:30 p.m. . Showing Saturday night is "Three Mothers." (Next weekend, Feb. 11, it's "Eli and Ben.")
