Sinai's Meltzer Takes Helm at LifeBridge Health

Neil Meltzer is president and CEO of the company that oversees Sinai in Baltimore, LifeBridge Fitness—including the gym in Pikesville—and Northwest Hospital in Randallstown.

LifeBridge Health has a new president and chief executive officer: Neil Meltzer, who was promoted from vice president of the company and president and chief operating officer of Sinai Hospital.

The company is strong and is ready to serve its diverse community into the future, Meltzer said in a statement.

LifeBridge Health also includes Northwest Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, Courtland Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and more, according to a news release from LifeBridge Health.
 
Meltzer's history with Sinai goes back to 1988 when he was hired as vice president for operations.

Since then, he has helped create at Sinai: The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, the Sandra and Malcolm Berman Brain & Spine Institute, The Herman and Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital, LifeBridge Health & Fitness and the Office of Medical Education, the release states.

Also during his tenure, the Kreiger Eye Institute has expanded, and the operations improvement department and the Sinai Physician Partners group have been restructured, it states.
