Randallstown resident C.J. Marbley has been promoted to an administrative role at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, the hospital announced.
Marbley will serve as administrative director of perioperative services, a role he's filled at the Towson hospital as interim director since June.
“My goal is to help create a surgical environment in a community hospital where patient outcomes, satisfaction, and quality of care rivals or surpasses our large city counterparts and simply be the best at what we do,” Marbley said in a GBMC news release.
Marbley's department handles surgical services, surgery support staff and other procedural functions. Marbley was previously the clinical manager of the medical intensive care unit at GBMC, where he has been employed since 2006.
Marbley has also worked at Chesapeake Medical Staffing, the Veterans Administration Hospital and Sinai Hospital. He has a bachelor's in nursing from Howard University and is currently working on a master's degree in nursing administration at Stevenson University, according to the hospital release.
