Patching with The Reform Temple Inc.

Jill Dudley Cohen and Susan Wolf Dudley are here with me and Pikesville Patch Blogger Cheryl Cohen visiting as we write up the stories/blog of the day.

Wolf Dudley is the founder of The Reform Temple, Inc.

She and her daughter Dudley Cohen are temple board members. The temple meets twice per year at for the high holidays: Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah.

Nearly 1,000 people attended those services combined, Wolf Dudley said.

"It's about classical reform Judaism," Dudley Cohen said of the services.

Wolf Dudley leads the two services. "The important thing is that it be meaningful and understandable and keep up with the times," she said.

Through the temple they try to make people feel welcome, she said. "God loves people who love other people."

Here at on Tuesday, they're discussing holiday foods, and are talking about charoses recipes for Passover.

Dudley Cohen mentioned a dessert of chopped apples, cinnamon, walnuts and grape Manischewitz wine.
