New Walgreens Could Open in March; Luncheon Scheduled

The Pikesville Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a luncheon March 7 that will feature Walgreen's District Manager Andrew Militello as speaker.

Pikesville's new could open as early as March 30, according to , executive director for the Pikesville Chamber of Commerce.

Meanwhile, the chamber plans to welcome the new store—the second in Pikesville—during a luncheon March 7.

Walgreens District Manager will be the speaker. He'll discuss the company's growth plan in Pikesville and Baltimore County, according to an announcement from .

He'll also discuss "How (Walgreens) can be a total wellness destination and not just a pharmacy," the announcement states.

The breakfast will be held at 8:30 a.m. March 7 at the , 16 Old Court Rd., No. 1, in Pikesville.

Cost to attend the breakfast is $15 for members, and $20 for non-members. If you're a member and you bring a guest, you get half-off your own breakfast.

Kosher meals are available upon request.

Also at the breakfast, of Owings Mills will hold a drawing for a free lunch for 10.
