After 20 years practicing threading, a hair removal technique originating in South Asia, Neha Gupta has grown a devoted fan base in the Pikesville area.
The positive response motivated her to recently open Neha Threading Spa & Salon at a large, three-story space at 1501 Reisterstown Road.
"A lot of clients of mine--they live in Pikesville--so they suggested that I open in the area," said Gupta, a Parkville resident.
But that's not all her clients desired.
"People know me for threading but they also wanted a spa and salon," she said.
An avid believer in the healing power of yoga, Gupta also brought in a yoga instructor to complete the wellness experience at her establishment.
" No one is Pikesville has that big space and you can see the whole Pikesville from [the studio]."
