Mt. Washington Tavern to Reopen in November

Mt. Washington Tavern, the popular eatery destroyed by fire last fall, is set to reopen this fall, according to the restaurant website.

In November, Mt. Washington Tavern will reopen, according to the once-popular restaurant's website.

"Grand Reopening November 2012," it states, asking readers to check the eatery's Facebook page for updates.

The restaurant is popular with Pikesville residents, especially during the holidays when Pikesvillians who have moved away return to visit with family and friends.

On Thursday night, the tavern sent out 13 photos of its rebuilding progress. A screenshot of one of those photos is attached to this article.

On Oct. 31 last year, owner Rob Frisch had stood watching the restaurant smoulder. It had been the victim of an early morning fire.

At that point, he vowed to rebuild.
