Kamenetz to Unveil Jobs, Development Plan for Woodlawn

The Baltimore County executive will make an announcement Tuesday morning about the economic development initiative.

Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz will announce a major new initiative designed to increase jobs and spur private investment in the greater Woodlawn area.

The announcement will be made at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at 7142 Ambassador Road, Woodlawn, the former headquarters for the FBI Area Field Office.

That property, built in 1967 and renovated in 2010, is listed for sale for $4.65 million by Blue & Obrecht Realty, according to the realty's website. It is in a business park.

Expected to attend are: Kamenetz, 4th District Councilman Ken Oliver, 1st District Councilman Tom Quirk, representatives of Woodlawn businesses, community members, county agency representatives, and members of the Baltimore County Council and Statehouse delegation.
