Historic Firehouse Transformed into Accounting Firm Offices

Accounting firm Katz & Lutzenburg and County Executive Kevin Kamenetz will celebrate renovations to the previously vacant Pikesville Firehouse, built in 1921, on Monday.

Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz will celebrate the redevelopment of the historic former Pikesville Firehouse, which was recently renovated and opened as accounting firm Katz & Luxenburg.

The firehouse once housed Baltimore County Fire Department's Station 2, and has been vacant for 11 years, according to the business' website.

The station opened in 1921 and firefighters worked there until 1999. "A registered Historic Landmark, we have retained the original architecture and created a commercial interior space," the firm's newsletter states.
