I was just at the Greenspring Shopping Center tonight. The newly paved parking lot is quite an improvement. The giant planters that made it difficult to open a car door are gone!

I was there tonight too. How about that! It is much more pleasant-looking.

Even though its just a 60 second drive from my house, I must not have been paying attention because I had never even noticed any construction going on, but I saw the results & it looks pretty good. Also I never liked parking in that lot before whereas the yesterday when I went I kind of just glided my car smoothly into a space. I normally wouldnt have remembered such a mundane detail but parking always used to be such a pain there so it stuck wtih me enough to remember later.

I agree, Yaelle, that parking used to be a pain. The shopping center is so convenient, but the parking wasn't. I think it had something to do with the angled parking spaces. It was more difficult to see people coming.

I've added some shots that show the Greenspring Shopping Center parking lot before the improvements.
