Gas Prices: Highest at Greenspring Shell, Lowest at BP

The BP gas station at Slade Avenue and Reistertown Road shows the lowest price per gallon of gasoline in the Pikesville area.

According to Pikesville Patch's "Commute" feature Wednesday afternoon, there, at 524 Reisterstown Rd., you could get a gallon of regular gasoline for $3.39 per gallon.

The second-best price on regular gas was $3.40 per gallon at the Pikesville Mobil, 1509 Reisterstown Rd., as well as at the BP, 1717 Reisterstown Rd.

The highest price in the area was advertised at the Shell gas station at Greenspring Shopping Center: $3.53 per gallon for regular on Tuesday night.

That's at 2859 Smith Ave. in Pikesville.

Another Shell, located in Baltimore at 4500 W. Northern Parkway, had regular gasoline at 1 cent lower than the Greenspring Shell: $3.52 per gallon, according to Commute.

Patch readers often watch the prices at the Greenspring Shopping Center, note that prices are often higher than other stations in the area. But the prices had been lower after renovations this fall.

"Not sure if you noticed, but the Shell station at Greenspring Shopping Center is back to their old antics," one Pikesville Patch Facebook fan wrote Sunday. "$3.53/gallon while it's mostly $3.34 everywhere else."
