Chicken Out Closes In Pikesville

Festival at Woodholme store decides not to extend lease

Chicken Out Rotisserie recently closed its doors at the Festival at Woodholme shopping center in Pikesville.

A sign has been posted on the door that states the company decided not to renew its lease at the shopping center but remains in business at other locations, such as Columbia. The message thanked the Pikesville community for its patronage.

Notices on the front doors stated: “Thank you for allowing us to serve you for the past 12 years … we have decided not to extend our lease. But it’s not good bye. Chicken Out Rotisserie will continue to serve our many friends and guests from our other nearby locations. It has been a pleasure.”

Regency Centers handles this property, but no one was available to comment on Friday about the restaurant closing.

Festival at Woodholme is located at 1809 Reisterstown Road, just north of Beltway exit 20. Its website says the center has 81,015 square feet with Chicken Out listed as having 3,513 square feet.
