Cheapest Gas Prices Along Reisterstown Road: Still $3.65

Do you already need a fill-up? At Patch, we did the work for you. And again, we found that, generally, the further south you drive on Reisterstown Road, away from I-695, the cheaper the gasoline tends to be.

The Winner: The cheapest gas Wednesday afternoon was found just across the Baltimore City line at Gulf, 6315 Reisterstown Road, where regular gasoline was $3.65 per gallon. The plus grade was $3.85 and premium, $3.95.

The Runner-Up: We found the next-best deal at BP, located at 4101 Patterson Ave., also in Baltimore, where regular gas was $3.67 per gallon. Here, silver costs $3.83 per gallon and ultimate costs $3.93.

Best in Pikesville: The BP at 524 Reisterstown Road by Slade Avenue and Citgo at 7101 Reisterstown Road tied for the best prices in regular gas, costing $3.73 per gallon. However, Citgo had a better price for mid-grade gasoline at $3.95 while BP had the better price for ultimate, $4.03.

Baltimore resident Germaine Jones, who was pumping gasoline at Citgo, said he's aggravated by Maryland's temperamental gas prices.

"They just keep going up and down," Jones said. "It's frustrating. This morning I got gas for $3.69 (regular per gallon) and it's $3.73 already."
