Since this is the first article of the new year I thought I would share a BIG LESSON with you to get your year off to a great start.

You have probably been receiving all sorts of e-mails and letters about setting goals and making lists of things you want to accomplish. I hope you have been writing it all down and focus on them.

BUT THIS WEEK I WANT TO SHARE A STORY.

A few months ago I started working with a special consulting client. Just like all of my other former and current clients, he was looking for a shortcut.

He was clearly struggling and the economy had hit him hard.

HE WANTED TO GET BACK TO WHERE HE WAS - BUT COULDN’T FIGURE OUT HOW?

His industry had been decimated.
His bank account wiped out.
His family no longer trusted his judgement.

He was at the lowest he had ever been. But he did realize that he could do better and he also realized he needed help.

So that’s how it was when he came to me.

I am proud to tell you a few things have changed for him.

He has money in his account—almost $300,000
He is in a totally different industry—one he had only dreamed of in the past
His family is starting to believe in him again.

SO HOW DID THIS ALL HAPPEN? AND SO QUICKLY?
It’s all due to a formula I discovered myself about 10 or 11 years ago. At first I doubted it. But I used it to grow 6 different multi-million dollar businesses fast.

Ok—Here are the areas you MUST master.

1. Time Management

2. Salesmanship—both in person and in your writing. ( copywriting)

3. Persuasion—Probably the most important part-because if you know how and why people do what they do … well—you control the situation.

4. Marketing—Of course this is a deep subject on its own but I prefer direct response marketing where every penny invested is accountable.

5. MINDSET—This final piece is the most important of all since without it—learning all of the other 4 are worthless without this piece.

So now you too have a formula of recipe of areas you need to work on.
