How Many Doors Does Your Business Have?

Yes, I realize this is a strange title for an article but please stay with me here because what I am about to share with you will have a BIG impact on your on your bottom line profits.

Take a look at your facility. If you are like most, you probably have a front door, a side door, a back door, and maybe even a few garage bay doors. The point is there is more than one way to get into your business. When I consultant with auto repair owners and vendors to the auto repair industry I am often asked

“WHAT IS THE BEST MARKETING STRATEGY FOR GETTING MORE BUSINESS … NOW!”

The truth is that there isn’t any one way. Just like your facility, you must use multiple ways of generating new business. Different promotions, different media, and different groups you are targeting. I hate to disappoint you but there is no one “best” way.

You should be using the internet, mobile marketing, direct mail, and other media ads on radio, TV, and in print. But you need to track these campaigns to see if they are working on not. Why would you spend your hard-earned money on marketing that is not producing results for you?

Some people will search for you on the internet on their laptop or computer. Or some people will drive by your facility and know you are there. Some will search for you on their mobile phones. In fact, recent statistics from Google say that over 40% of all searches on done on mobile phones (and growing each and every month) and that 81 of those searches are for local businesses like yours.

Can you afford to miss 40% of the people looking for you? Of course not so you need to make sure you have a mobile optimized website so those people can find you!
