Mrs. Zipora Schorr Receives Award for Educational Excellence in the Diaspora

Beth Tfiloh Dir. of Education Mrs. Zipora Schorr was recently recognized for her outstanding accomplishments in BT’s development and growth, as well as the school’s exceptional academic program.

BT Director of Education Mrs. Zipora Schorr recently received a special award on behalf of Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School for educational excellence in the Diaspora. The award, presented by the World Council for Torah Education and sponsored by the Michlelet Lifschitz School of Education of Bar Ilan University, recognizes Mrs. Schorr’s outstanding accomplishments in the development and growth of Beth Tfiloh, as well as the school’s exceptional academic program. 

The ceremony was attended by Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, Chief Rabbi of Israel Yona Metzger and other local dignitaries, as well as several BT alumni and friends.

“I am honored to accept this award on behalf of our school and share it with our entire faculty, administration and lay leadership,” said Mrs. Schorr. The entire Beth Tfiloh family extends Mrs. Schorr a hearty mazel tov on this well-earned achievement.
