Beth Tfiloh Dahan High School Announces 22 National Merit Scholarship Awardees

Beth Tfiloh Dahan High School is proud to announce that four seniors were named National Merit Semi-Finalists and 18 were named Commended Students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Beth Tfiloh Dahan High School Director of Education Mrs. Zipora Schorr and Principal Rabbi Aaron Frank are proud to announce that four seniors were named National Merit Semi-Finalists and 18 were named Commended Students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.

The Semifinalists fall in the top 1 percent of students participating in the National Merit Program based on their scores in the qualifying PSAT exam. They will have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 8,300 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million that will be offered in spring 2013. Commended Students placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2013 competition.

Mrs. Schorr says, “We are most proud of our students’ continued achievements, as well as Beth Tfiloh Dahan’s outstanding college preparatory program that underpins their academic success.” Says Rabbi Frank, “Our students’ work and talent have paid off and we continue to take pride in our students’ accomplishments.”
