Valentine's Day Dance Benefits the Alzheimer's Association

Dance the night away in celebration of Valentine's Day, and help fund support programs for people with Alzheimer's disease, and for disease research.

Sean Climer of Georgia Boy Dance will give instructions on Latin dances.

This is the final fundraising event to help a dancing couple raise money for their participation in the 2012 Memory Ball, set for April 14.

Funds raised at the Valentine's Day dance will be attributed to "dancing stars" Daniel Hamm and Heather Roberts—amateur dancers.

They are competing against other dancing stars couples to raise the most money for the association by the date of the ball.

The more money they raise, the more "votes" they get toward the competition.

The event includes hot food at no additional cost, snacks soda and set-ups. It's a BYOB event.

There will be an R&B DJ plus a Latin dance mix, and an event photographer for on-site, take-home photos.

Also, there will be 50/50 cash raffles and raffle giveaways throughout the evening.

To buy tickets, call Heather at 410-382-5182.
