Homicide Victims' Funeral, Burial Services Set for Friday

Mass of Christian burial is set for 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church in Secretary, Dorchester County, with burial afterward, according to an obituary in The Star Democrat.

Pikesville residents Vaughn and Marjorie Pepper will be buried in Dorchester County, according their obituaries in The Star Democrat.

Baltimore County police in their Sudbrook Park home. .

The Peppers had lived in Sudbrook Park since 1965, the obituaries state.

Vaughn Pepper, 87, was a retired captain of the Maryland State Police, said State Police Sgt. Marc Black. "He was a retired Maryland state trooper. He retired as a captain from the Motor Vehicle Division after 30 years of service."

Pepper worked at Waterloo Barrack in Jessup, Black said.

Marjorie Marie Moxey Pepper, 85, was born in Cambridge, and her husband was born in Denton, their obituaries state.

She and her husband, who was born in Denton, married in 1947, and lived in Hurlock until they moved to Pikesville, according to their obituaries.

Vaughn Pepper was in the US Army, and was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes, Luxembourg.

They were members of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Pikesville, according to the church.
