Snow Flies Again
After a warm week of spring-like weather, winter is back as the snow flies; Pikesville and area residents anticipate 4-8 inches by morning.
As forecasted, the rain Monday morning turned to sleet later in the afternoon, followed by snowfall at night.
At about 10:20 p.m., the pelting, tiny, icy snow bounced off objects it hit, and accumulated in a dense covering on the ground. By 11 p.m., about an inch or more had accumulated.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning through 7 a.m. Tuesday.
