NWS: Snow Expected to Fall This Morning

The National Weather Service says there's a 70 percent chance of snowfall by mid-morning in the Baltimore area.

UPDATE (8:36 a.m. Sunday)—There's no snow so far, but the National Weather Service says there's still a 70 percent chance that it will fall by mid-morning.

Since yesterday evening the NWS had a Hazardous Weather Outlook in effect, as snow was expected to fall sometime from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. today, with not more than one-half inch accumulating. That outlook was updated at 4:25 a.m. today, and is still in effect.

Otherwise, today's weather is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high of about 41 degrees.

According to the forecast, clouds will clear a bit tonight, and the low will be about 24 degrees.

It will be sunny Monday, when the high will be about 43 degrees.
