Key Bridge Service Road to Close for 2 Weeks
DUNDALK—Maryland Transportation Authority crews will make improvements to the road as part of a $1.6 million preservation project, according to a statement from the department.

Police Say Woman Gunned Down in Front of Hillendale Home
PARKVILLE-OVERLEA—Police say Victoria Vernetta Glover, 28,was shot to death in front of her home in the 1300 block of Dalton Road about 8:45 a.m. She was found lying on the sidewalk, police said.

Dundalk Man Charged in Sex Abuse of Young Schoolchildren
DUNDALK—A Dundalk man has been charged with 14 counts of sex abuse of a minor while he was an elementary school music teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools. Police say some victims were as young as kindergarten-age.

Robbers Strike Again in North Baltimore
NORTH BALTIMORE—A group of juveniles who use stolen cars to commit robberies in North Baltimore struck again Thursday morning.

Timonium Resident Among 5 Performers Killed in Texas Crash
LUTHERVILLE-TIMONIUM—Timonium resident Amanda Starz was identified as one of the five members of a popular summer musical production who were killed on Aug. 12 in a crash with an 18-wheeler in Amarillo, TX, an official told the Associated Press on Tuesday.

Man Shot in Roland Park
NORTH BALTIMORE—A man suffered what police said are non-life threatening injuries after being shot in Roland Park Wednesday morning.

2 Men Robbed at Gunpoint in Catonsville
CATONSVILLE—Armed robbers stole a wallet from two Catonsville men this weekend in Catonsville. At 12:30 a.m. Saturday, two men, one armed with a silver handgun, robbed the men, according to a report by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens Precinct.

Dundalk Man Killed in Beltway Crash
DUNDALK—A Dundalk man died on Aug. 10, when his motorcycle crashed into the back of a tractor trailer on the inner loop of I-695 just past Chesaco Avenue.
