Baltimore County Police Precinct 4/Pikesville, has been busy this month with robberies, arrests, thefts and burglaries. And they arrested a man for a first-degree assault.

First-degree burglary

Sometime from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, someone entered an apartment on Tentmill Lane in Pikesville, and ransacked the apartment. A television, video games and a computer were stolen.

Robbery

At 3:07 p.m. Feb. 16, someone tackled a teenage boy from behind and took the iPod from his pocket. The tackle occurred in the 8200-block of Church Lane in Milford Mill. The suspect ran westbound on Church Lane, then ran behind 8240 Church Lane. Police did not find the suspect.

Arrest: First-degree assault

Police arrested Michael Earl Wood, 49, of the 6900-block of Copperbend Lane, after a woman reported to them on Feb. 16 that, at noon October  18, he allegedly forced her into a bedroom closet and placed a handgun to her head, a police report states. Police recovered the handgun.

Theft

Sometime from 2-4 a.m. Feb. 15, someone broke the rear windows of four vehicles parked on Montaigne Court in Pikesville. They disconnected the battery and stole the airbag from the vehicles. The suspects are described as two black males, one 5-foot 10-inches and skinny, and the second one was shorter, the police report states. The vehicles were three Hondas and one Toyota truck.

First-degree burglary

Sometime from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 14, someone entered an apartment in the 7900-block of Crisford Place and stole cash. There were no signs of forced entry, a police report states.

Armed robbery

At about 9:13 p.m. Feb. 14, a man approached the drive-thru window at a business in the 8200-block of Liberty Road in Milford Mill, and showed a black, semi-automatic handgun at the cashier, demanded money, opened the cash register himself, took cash anr ran toward southbound Rolling Road. The suspect is described as a black man, age 18-20 years, wearing a brown hoodie, a black mask, and carrying a semi-automatic handgun.
