Walkers were taking their customary constitutionals Monday during the Jewish holiday of . Monday was also the federal Memorial Day holiday.

Shavuot commemorates the giving of the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai 3,324 years ago.

And Memorial Day honors men and women who died during military service for the US.

Strolling is a common activity year-round in the Greenspring and Cross Country areas of northwest Baltimore and Pikesville.

Even the warm temperatures Monday didn't stop walkers from getting their fill of holiday sunshine.
