More Showers, Thunderstorms Forecast for Pikesville Area

Two to three more inches of rain are possible until 12:15 p.m., while showers and storms are possible between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The rumbling thunder heard earlier this morning has ceased for now, but the National Weather Service has a flash flood warning in effect through 12:15 p.m. Monday for Central Baltimore County—including Pikesville—and northwest Baltimore City.

A storm over Baltimore City at 9:18 a.m. is "drifting slowly to the north," according to the warning that went into effect at 9:53 a.m.

That storm movement prompted the agency to issue the warning.
