Two Baltimore County moms, members of Reisterstown Moms Meetup group, shared some time today at Panera Bread in Pikesville.
When Jennifer Johnson of Woodlawn and Amanda Mauck of Reisterstown went to their first Meetup.com group on Friday, they had no idea they would find instant friendship.
But they did, and they shared their coffee shop story.
"We connected at our first meetup, so we were just meeting for lunch," Mauck said Tuesday as she and Johnson had lunch with their babies.

Meetup.com is a website that facilitates meetings between people who share common interests. Mauck and Johnson met through an event of the Reisterstown Moms Meetup group.
Surprisingly, the two discovered over lunch Tuesday that they are from the same area of the South.

Johnson is from Pensacola, FL, and Mauck is from Mobile, AL—about a 40-minute trip, Johnson said.
