Freeze Warning; Bring in the Potted Plants

The National Weather Service issues a freeze warning overnight.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the Pikesville area, and many other counties in Maryland and Northern Virginia.

The freeze could occur overnight between 3-9 a.m. Tuesday, according to the freeze alert. Temperatures could be between the upper 20s to lower 30s for about three hours, it states.

"A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely," the alert states. "These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation."
