Five Kid-Friendly Events Set in North Baltimore County, City

Here's a list to help plan your kids' week.

There's always something for kids or families to do together. Patch has found five fabulous events within the next week.

Take them Out to the Ballgame

The Orioles play the Kansas City Royals at 7:05 p.m. May 24 and 25; and at 12:35 p.m. May 26 at Camden Yards, 333 West Camden St., Baltimore. Visit the team's website for schedule and ticket info.

Music at Park School

At 7 p.m., May 26, the Park School's Parksingers, String Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Madrigals, Eightnotes and Vocal Chords at the school, 2425 Old Court Road, Pikesville. This program is for all ages and is offered at no cost. For more information, call 410-339-7070.

Run! Walk?

People of all ages can participate in the 5K run at 8:30 a.m. May 30, and the 1-mile Run and Fun Walk at 9 a.m. The events begin at Covenant of Grace, 820 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown, and the race is on paved roads. All proceeds help pay for the youth group's summer mission trip. Advanced registration is preferred by May 27, however, late registration will be accepted starting at 7:30 a.m. the morning of the race. For more information, call 410-833-2160.

Move and Sing

For newborns through 23 months old, , 1301 Reisterstown Road, offers a free program called "," featuring simple movements, songs and activities. It's held at 10:30 a.m. May 25. Appreciate Art

Older children may enjoy a trip to a real exhibit of an artist’s work, "." It's a free exhibit at 's Hoffberger Gallery, 7401 Park Heights Ave., Pikesville. Visit from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through May 31. The current exhibit features works by Deborah Addison Coburn, a painter, printmaker and collage artist. For more information, call 410-764-1587.
