Shabbat Shirah Musical Interfaith Service,

Join Beth Tfiloh Community School in celebrating this special Shabbat of Song and freedom! Shabbat Shirah, literally Shabbat of Song, so named because the week's Torah portion includes Shirat Hayam (Song of the Sea), the song the Israelites sang after they crossed the Red Sea on their way to the promised land. As part of the festivities there will be musical selections by Congregation Beit Tikvah's Kol Tikvah Choir, and by members of First Christian Church and The Gathering, faith communities with whom we share the building.  Our observance will also honor the birthday of the late Dr. Martin Luther King who understood and exemplified what it means to actually fight for and attain freedom.
