JCS Parent Discussion Series

Because parenting doesn’t come with an instruction manual, JCS is offering a Parent Discussion Series.

Whether your child is a newly talking toddler or a school-aged youngster navigating classrooms and play dates, a teen facing a world of decisions, or a young adult becoming independent,  you will find that this free program offers an enlightening and realistic approach to the many challenges of parenthood.

Discussion groups will be held monthly, 6:00 – 7:30 pm, at Jewish Community Services in Owings Mills, 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue (at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC).

Tuesday, July 23 is “How to talk to your child about death and dying.” Loren Walsh, JCS Community Connections Facilitator will lead the discussion.  The program is co-sponsored by the Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore.

The series is free and open to the public.  Babysitting is available and provided by the JCC for a small fee and with advance reservation.
