The Friends of the Israel Defense Forces is holding a gala Oct. 29 at Chizuk Amuno Congregation in Pikesville.
"Support of the FIDF provides for the humanitarian needs of our soldiers enabling them to learn, grow and protect our homeland while serving in the IDF," Ron Eisenberg, president of the Midatlantic Chapter, said in a newsletter.
The event begins at 6 p.m., and features actor and comedian Richard Kind, according to the Midatlantic Chapter's Facebook page.
