Greetings from The Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth—

We regret that we need to postpone the Race and Politics Workshop that we were to host on Thursday November 1 at City Hall in Baltimore.

The aftermath of Hurricane Sandy complicated the logistics of bringing everyone together, including our speaker from Philadelphia.  We will try to reschedule in the future, and by November 5 we’ll be in touch with the three students who won this year’s essay contest.

We wanted to extend a special thanks to all students who submitted essays for this year’s contest, and to their teachers and parents who continue to guide their academic achievement.
