What's That Sound? NORAD Exercise Through Friday Morning
Flights will take place during the following times, through Friday: 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and 3:30-5:30 a.m.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command is conducting a flight exercise through Friday.
According to a news release, the Continental United States NORAD Region is also involved in the exercise, taking place in the Washington D.C. area.
Exercise Falcon Virgo, a series of training flights, will take place during these time periods: 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and 3:30-5:30 a.m.
They'll be honing some systems, including a visual warning system, and certifying new personnel.
Civil Air Patrol aircraft and a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter will also participate in the exercise.
