Watch for DUI Patrols Friday Night

Baltimore and Harford counties will team up to catch drunk drivers.

Law enforcement to be out between 11 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Jan. 26, trying to catch drunk drivers.

Checkpoints will be set up along Pulaski Highway from Joppatowne to Rosedale, according to a news release from the Baltimore County Police Department.

It's a joint effort by the Harford County Sheriff's Department, Baltimore County police and Maryland State Police, it states.

"These details are one part of a comprehensive strategy to prevent drivers from operating motor vehicles while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, promote community education, and ensure enforcement of laws to reduce the number of alcohol-involved crashes," the release states.
