Tyler Waldman, Patch Editor Now in 'Fair Condition'

Waldman, a Towson resident, was seriously injured in Nov. 26 car crash.

Tyler Waldman, Essex Patch editor, was upgraded to 'fair condition' at Maryland Shock Trauma Monday after a Nov. 26 car crash.

According to an email from a family member, Waldman is expected to leave Shock Trauma for inpatient services at another medical facility as early as Tuesday.

The 24-year-old Towson resident suffered serious injuries after his Honda Civic was struck by a Ford Mustang at the intersection of Goucher Boulevard and E. Joppa Road.

The driver of the Mustang, identified by Baltimore County Police as 37-year-old Rosedale woman Shervale T. Kenney, was treated for minor injuries at Sinai Hospital.

Police are still investigating the crash.

Associate Regional Editor Bryan Sears contributed to this report.

Why does the Sun refer to Tyler as a former reporter from Towson Patch without at least announcing he took over Essex Middle River Patch as Editor.

It was all those well wishes from the people at the big Patch a big family that helped.

Tyler,
You would not know me, but I knew your mom, Cha back in the day...before you were born. My cousin, Tom Loizeaux, married Cha's sister, Victoria. I knew your dad too.
Our prayers are with you as you recover from your traumatic experience. You have many many friends who are 'sending' positive vibes yd rour way!

Relax, get well, and regain your strength so you are able to continue to do your important journalistic and investigative work.

All the best to you !
